Start with the right questions about product scope, test methods and care conditions.

What information do you need?

These topics organise questions to ask when requesting documents. They are not a list of published certificates or test results.

Review the product code, components, dimensions, fabric weight and use limits together. Ask which product version the sheet covers.

Ask about the supplier, batch, source category and scope of the content calculation. A raw-material document does not cover the whole product.

Consider absorption capacity and speed separately. Compare results only with matching samples, liquids, methods and units.

Request the ambient temperature, humidity, initial moisture and drying criterion in the report.

Separate the initial measurement from the result after use. Include the wash cycle, detergent, drying and acceptance criterion in the same scope.

Match care instructions to the product code. Include washing, drying and care restrictions in the sample evaluation.
