Personal data notice (KVKK)
As data controller, OPIA ECO Medikal Tekstil A.Ş. provides this notice under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
What data do we process?
When you send the request form we process your name, email address, company, your request choices (inquiry type, application, estimated quantity, country / target market, target timing, size / cutting, print / branding, sales channel or the technical document requested), the product line you selected (product, product code, quantity and preferences) and your message; the language of the page you used is stored with the request. The request is recorded in the site's request system (a database on Cloudflare infrastructure) and used only to answer it and to conduct the quote, sample or cooperation discussion (KVKK Art. 5/2-c and f). To prevent misuse of the form, a security check with Cloudflare Turnstile runs when you send it; Cloudflare processes your connection details for this check. Your IP address is not written to the request record; to limit attempts, only a keyed digest derived from it is counted for a ten-minute window. When you write to us by email, we process the name, company, contact details and message content you share. For organisation accounts that use the customer area, we process the account email, session information and the account’s request, quote and support records. The site uses no analytics tool.
Visitor chat
When you write to the assistant on this site, we process your messages, the page language and a session cookie (opia_visitor_frigg, HttpOnly) that links the conversation to your browser. Before a conversation starts, a Cloudflare Turnstile security check is made. Replies are generated with Cloudflare Workers AI from the products and articles published on this site; your messages are sent to the model only to produce the reply. The conversation is kept in the site’s own storage on Cloudflare’s infrastructure and deleted automatically after seven days; “Clear chat” deletes it at once. Do not share personal or confidential information in the chat; for a quote, use the request form.
Purpose and legal basis
Your data is processed to answer your request, to handle quotation, sample or partnership discussions and to meet our legal obligations. The legal bases are that processing is directly related to concluding a contract, that it is needed to meet a legal obligation, and our legitimate interest, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (KVKK Art. 5/2-c, ç and f).
Transfers
Your data is shared, as far as your request requires, with the relevant teams within the company and with the specialist brand your request concerns; where the law requires, it is transferred to the competent public authorities. Form records are kept in a database on the Cloudflare infrastructure that hosts the site and the request system, and emails on the servers of the email service provider. These servers may be located abroad; in that case the transfer is made in line with Article 9 of the Law. Your data is not sold or given to third parties for marketing.
Retention
Requests sent with the request form and correspondence are kept until your request is concluded and for as long as the business relationship continues; when the legal period for commercial correspondence ends (ten years under Article 82 of the Turkish Commercial Code), they are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the Law you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information about it, to learn the purpose of processing, to know the parties it is transferred to, to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, to request its deletion or destruction, to request that these actions be notified to the parties it was transferred to, to object to a result arising from automated analysis, and to claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
How to apply
You can send your application in writing, with information that lets us verify your identity, to the email address below or to the address in the imprint. Applications are answered free of charge within thirty days at the latest.
Cookies and what is stored in your browser
This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies and contains no analytics tool that tracks your visit. The visitor chat uses a strictly necessary session cookie (opia_visitor_frigg) for seven days, only once you start a conversation.
Customer area session
When you sign in to the customer area, a strictly necessary session cookie keeps you signed in. It stops being valid when you sign out or the session ends; it is not used for visitors who do not sign in.
Request form and preparation list
What you type on the request page is not saved in the browser; it stays only in the open page and reaches us only when you send the request. The items you tick in the sample guide also stay only in the open page and are not sent. Both are cleared when you leave the page.
Technical logs
The infrastructure that serves the site may briefly keep technical connection logs, such as IP address and request time, for security and operation of the service.

Scope of documents and claims
Documents, tests and verifications are valid only for the organisation, product, sample and date stated on them; they cannot be extended to other products or to a whole brand.
Concept visuals
Visuals marked “concept visual” do not show the actual product. Product properties are settled at the quote and sample stage.
